Rihanna is still waiting for her New Beginning!
Rescued in 2013, Rihanna is in foster and waiting so patiently for her forever home!
Rihanna entered the shelter system two years ago and while she was only two years old, the shelter initially thought she was a geriatric dog due to her battered and beaten down appearance. It is believe she may have been used as a bait dog and then discarded.
Second Chance Rescue came to Rihanna’s rescue after an outpouring of cries from thousands of people that she MUST be saved. She was…and two years later she still does not have a home.
Rihanna is gentle and affectionate and needs to be a one and only! She can live with older children, and would do best in a home with no cats. Her new family will receive support from Allied Dog Training, where Rihanna spent some time after leaving Theresa Zavada’s care in 2014. She is currently being fostered by a trainer from Allied Dog Training.
