We have been waiting 10 months to say this… MOLLY IS ADOPTED!!!!
Finally 1 year & 6 months after being surrendered to the shelter, after 6 appearances on the shelter EUTH list, after being adopted then returned, after spending 10 months in boarding, Molly is home for good! We are literally jumping for joy. It boggled the mind how such a beautiful sweet dog could sit in a kennel for so long without anhome stepping up to foster or adopt her. Until now! Molly’s family was going to just foster her but, after a week they said there’s no way we can let her go. And decided to instead adopt her. Thank you all for sharing!! Happy Tails Molly!
Molly is still waiting for her New Beginning!
Molly is currently in boarding with a trainer in Mount Holly, NJ and seeking a foster or forever home.
Molly was returned by her adopters and is currently in boarding in Mount Holly, NJ. She needs a foster or adopter ASAP! Molly loves to cuddle and just be close to her person. She’s had ACL surgery on her knee but, is now totally healthy and in great shape. Molly is dog friendly with proper intros and has been good around kids. Please give this wonderful dog the chance she deserves and SHARE her FAR & WIDE for a foster or adopter.
Why she was returned: The adopter said Molly and her dog were great together. Then her husband got deployed. She said Molly would not leave her side but was very happy. Molly did not like her cats but other than that all was good. Then one night she was petting Molly and her dog came over to get in between and they got into a scuffle. That was it for her and she wanted her out. So Molly was returned and now sits in boarding. We are committed to Molly to get her any training she may need when we find a committed adopter. She is a good dog who has had her whole world turned upside down and then has been bounced around. It is no wonder that she may now be anxious.
This was from one of the volunteers at the shelter:
Info From Molly’s Family That Took Her to ACC: This dog’s name is really Molly and she was born on 10/2/12. She’s lived with the same people since she was 5 weeks old but circumstances have intervened…. She’s lived with a senior pit and a senior chi who passed. She’s never lived with cats and might chase them. Though she didn’t live with children, she was always around very young kids in the extended family. She has a bad food allergy and should be eating Natural Balance grain free – sweet potato and salmon is her favorite. She’s not been on that since coming to BACC and obviously, her skin shows the results. She’s used to going for walks 3 or 4 times a day; loves to walk on a leash; prances around and likes to run a bit. She’s not crate trained. Molly loves to be petted particularly belly rubs. She slept in her doggie bed for part of the night but would sneak up into her owner’s bed every night and be right there in the morning. Basically, she was well cared for, much loved..she’s got a good Safer and just wanted to make a plea…
