MADISON, THE ADORABLE, GOLDEN RETRIEVER-MIX PUPPY, IS NOW IN BOARDING!
Maddie is a very sweet yet, energetic Golden Retr. Mix Puppy of just a year old. He was saved from Deathrow by Imagine Pet Rescue when he was just 9mos old. He thrived in his foster home and was recently adopted. But, the adopters have just returned him and now he sits in a boarding kennel in PA! This sweet puppy urgently needs a new foster or adopter to take him home! This poor pup has been stuck in the shelter, then went to a foster home then an adoptive home and now back to a boarding kennel all in just 4 months! He’s just a year old and he’s been bounced around more than any dog should ever be in their entire life!
Won’t you be the one that says, “Enough. I’m going to help this puppy have a bright loving future. I’m going to foster or adopt him! I’m going to be the person that sticks by him!” Because right now little Maddie sits all alone behind the bars of a kennel, dreaming that someone out there will say those exact words and take him away from his sad, new reality of rescue boarding. Maddie probably wonders what he did wrong… But, he didn’t do anything wrong, it was people that let him down. He’s a large breed puppy that without structure, training & guidance will do puppy things. Anyone who thinks owning a puppy doesn’t mean putting in work, is drastically mistaken. Puppies are the cutest but, they are also the most work. Happy, well balanced, good mannered & properly socialized dogs are the result of someone’s hard work when those dogs were young.
Won’t you be Maddie’s hero? Or atleast his advocate and SHARE him FAR and WIDE! To inquire about Madison please email [email protected] To apply to foster or adopt him please go to: ImaginePetRescue.org
INFO ON MADDIE’S SITUATION: Maddie was returned by his adopters for getting a little mouthy while the husband was playing rough with him. They did not want any training help from the rescue and wanted him picked up that same day. However, both the wife of the adopter and the foster were adamant that sweet Madison has not one bit of aggression in him. But, because he can be jumpy and reportedly mouthy with the husband, we recommend a home without small children. Madison is good with big dogs but, has not been around small dogs. If you have a small dog & are interested in Maddie please contact the rescue so they can have him tested. He has not been around cats and so it’s probably not a good idea until more is known about how he would interact with them. He can be transported to approved homes and meet n greets can be arranged at the boarding facility, Peacock Bridge Kennels, in Reading, PA.
