***Update: Hope got her Christmas wish! After more than a year in boarding, Hope is finally going home! She’s got that forever home that will love her and care for her. Thank you to her rescue SCR & Theresa for taking such good care of her for the last year. We wish Hope & her family a lifetime of Happy Tails!***
THERE’S ONLY ONE THING HOPE IS HOPING FOR…A HOME!
This incredibly affectionate pit-mix is currently stuck in boarding, all because she was returned to the rescue after she didn’t get along with the adopter’s cat. Hope is a very loving young adult dog who adores people and loves to cuddle up close or get a good belly rub. She enjoys going for walks or rides in the car. She even likes going to the vet! Hope has had a rough start in life, she’s a young dog but, has scars from her early mistreatment. But, it doesn’t phase her at all, she’s still such a LOVEBUG! Hope is spayed, crate trained, and working diligently on housetraining. She can be “iffy” with other dogs & is best with friendly males her size. Hope also enjoys a good “chew”. If she has a antler or a kong to play with she’s a one content girl. Just not as happy as she would be with a home of her own!
Hope is currently in boarding in Coventry, NY about 45mins from Oneonta. Please email questions or inquires to [email protected] or post them in the comments. To submit an adoption application please do so at: http://www.nycsecondchancerescue.org/app-form/
