Harry is still waiting for his New Beginning!
Harry fka Dilly is currently in boarding in Mount Holly, NJ and he is waiting patiently for a foster or an adopter.
Happy Harry is a super special boy who deserves a break! Harry was owned by a member of public in Queens, a member of law enforcement in fact. The owner’s neighbor contacted Rebound Hounds ResQ after witnessing Harry being hit over the head with a shovel by a family member of the owner. To make matters worse for poor sweet Harry, after the incident his owner surrendered him to a high-kill shelter in NYC.
Luckily for Harry, the neighbor knew what a great dog he was and that he didn’t deserve the terrible treatment he was enduring nor did he deserve to die on Death Row. Because, the neighbor alerted Rebound Hounds to Harry’s plight and pleaded for him, they lined up a foster home and rescued him from the shelter!
Sadly, the foster home fell through and now sweet lovable Harry is stuck in boarding! Please help him by fostering, adopting or sharing him!
Harry is a beautiful black and white tuxedo pitty. Three years old and 54 pounds. Harry loves people, he is affectionate and loving. Harry is also housetrained. Would appreciate a quiet home with a guardian who knows, loves and respects the breed. Intros suggested if another dog or dogs are present.
