Coast is still waiting for her New Beginning!
Two year old Coast is lovable, dog friendly and currently looking for a forever home!
“Hi, I’m Coast! Don’t forget about me! I’m still waiting for my forever home!
I am a 2 year old petite, lady-like and dainty Pit/American Bulldog mix (so I’m told), that weighs about 55 lbs. My foster family says I appear to be mixed with Dalmatian since my pattern of black spots and white fur is so prominent. Or, at least I *look* more like a Dalmatian, they say.
I’m not the type to boast as I’m typically very quiet and humble, but I’m told that I’m a little doll and the *perfect* family pet. I think that’s because I’m house-trained, crate trained, I have good manners (I know – and respond – to commands such as sit, down, come, stay, wait, leave-it, take-it), I walk gently on the leash, I sit like a lady in the car, I hardly ever bark, and most of all, I LOVE OTHER DOGS, and KIDS, too! I’m not really familiar with cats though so I tend to want to bark at them and chase them if they run.
In fact, I love other dogs so much that at the shelter, I was used as the ‘social greeter dog’ to help make the other doggies feel comfortable in playgroup.
I do prefer to be crated when my family isn’t home and I also prefer to be fed in my crate because it makes me feel secure that no one is going to take my food away from me. I don’t mind sharing toys, though!
Right now, I’m sharing attention-time and yard-time with 4 other dogs here. I’m very grateful and appreciative to be safe here, but I really would like to get settled into the forever home that I know must be waiting for me for somewhere…. will you be my forever family? I promise, I’ll be well-behaved and I won’t let you down! I am spayed, heart worm tested, have all my shots and I am microchipped too!
Thank you for considering making me a part of your family!”
