SHARING WORKS, please keep sharing and ask others to as well! We are so happy for you Astra! Happy Tails sweet girl and thank you family for making Astra part of yours!
FROM THE RESCUE: Many of you have been wondering about our sweet Astra, well we have some good news! Stephanie, a good friend of a previous RHDR adopter saw our post on our page immediately contacted us and asked to fill out an application. Stephanie’s application was fantastic and her references where glowing so this past Thursday we set up a meet and greet with Astra and their family! The family was delighted with Astra and wanted to proceed with adopting. Today, a home visit was done and Astra is starting her 3 week trial in becoming a permanent member of their family. We couldn’t be happier about the outcome. We would like to thank them for opening their home and hearts to our sweet girl. We would also like to thank Astra’s foster for giving her 2 excellent months in their home and looking out for the best interest of Astra! Astra seems to have found her happy ending so how about making the dreams come true for another needy dog in our Red Hook Dog Rescue?!. Have a great life Astra and welcome to the Red Hook Family Stephanie!****
**UPDATE: Astra just lost her foster home. She is heartbroken and now sits in boarding at the vet’s office. She cried and dug in her heels when she saw where she was going, begging not to have to go back. She’s been stuck there before and had to be carried all the way to in to a cage. Astra is dog selective and the foster was too nervous about meeting dogs in the elevator. Even though she disliked just 1 in 10. Please help this dog with a broken heart, she loved her foster so much and is so upset. Now she’s in a cage too. PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE. Email [email protected] to foster or adopt her.**
