***UPDATE: Apple is staying with her foster family! Yay! Apple decided to stay with her foster family since she loved them soooo much! And since they love her too it’s a happy ending for everyone. She just wiggled her lil’ cute booty right into their hearts! While, Apple is staying as their foster for now, they will probably make it official at some point. Happy Tails Apple & family!***
Haverhill MA 01830 – My name is Apple. I was estimated to be about 6-8 months old when I was rescued out of NYC ACC, so I think I’ll pick January 1, 2014 as my birthday! I now weigh 40 pounds. I have learned by voice command and hand signals “sit, down, shake and wait”. I’m still learning to be “easy” and “come”. I kinda have “roll over” down but that could still use some work. I’m getting better on walks and have my bigger foster brother “Harvey” to look up to when we walk together. He too was rescued by AmsterDog 6+ years ago. Sometimes I think my name is “no”, because my foster family is always saying that to me. Geesh! Can’t a girl have a little fun?! My foster dad tells me it’s for my own good so I grow up to be a well-mannered lady. But there’s just so much to see like the birds, the butterflies, the grass, the bugs… let’s face it, I’m young and sometimes can be a big knucklehead! I don’t mean to be. It’s just that life is good!
I love going for car rides and I’m so good about it too. Usually I’ll just sleep or watch the world go by from the back seat. Many times the car ride means “doggie daycare” where I get to see and play with all of my friends. I go 2-4 times a week and it’s the bestest thing ever! My doggie friends are pretty cool and so aren’t the humans that take care of me there. They love me! But then again, who wouldn’t?!
If you’re looking for a snuggle bunny… I’ll be yours! I love, love, love to snuggle with my foster mom before bedtime, and she likes it too! Speaking of bunnies… My foster family has 2 bunnies. I see them every day behind the gate in their room. They’re interesting little creatures and I would like to meet them, but for now I’m told I can only see them from afar. Most of the time I’ll sit and watch them for a bit and then mosey on my way. I did have a chance to meet some kitties on a recent weekend visit at a friend’s house and I must say, I did pretty well with them. I don’t think they were too keen with me, but once I knew that, I paid them no attention at all.
So Peeps… If you are looking for a silly, good-natured, snuggle bunny who loves to meet new people and dogs, well I just may be your girl! Please contact Amsterdog to find out more about me!
